Gregg Malack

Roughhouse-Teeze’80s

Roughhouse was one of the hottest up and coming hair bands of the ’80s, originating out of the Philly Metal Scene.  First known as “Teeze” before changing their name to Roughhouse, the infamous band toured up and down the East Coast and gained notoriety from radio requests and their 1st cd, which was released independently and sold over 40,000 copies prior to signing two record deals

The band was an over-the-top hybrid of Twisted Sister and Motley Crue on steroids.  Roughhouse’s theatrical performances left fans in awe, wanting more of their songs which were soon to be proven to be chart topping MTV hits.  Roughhouse soon signed a major label deal with Tommy Mottola and Sony Records, and soon after had their song “Tonight” on Headbanger’s Ball on MTV.

Derrick Campbell

After moving to the Philly area in 2020, Derrick Campbell contacted the singer from one of his first bands and asked if he would be interested in recording some of the originals they wrote back in the mid 90’s.  Initially, it was going to be a small project, but since Ted Norris (the singer) had continued writing songs, they ended up recording a full album under the name “Blue Sky Lightning.”  You can hear the album on Spotify, Amazon, and Apple Music, and Distrokid (which will give you the option to listen on YouTube).

Joe Lannutti

Our bassist, Joe Lannutti (aka “LaNoots”), started playing guitar at the age of ten and bass guitar at twelve. Joe had shown his musical versatility early on when his neighbors would get a kick out of watching this ten year old playing and singing the Beatles “I Should Have Known Better” or Otis Redding’s “Sitting on the Dock of the Bay”.   Joe provided bass guitar to the Tom Heil Project on the songs Ain’t Playing, Living In A Mansion, Victim of Circumstance, POV, and Favorite Place.  Their songs can be found on Youtube, Spotify, Amazon, and Apple Music.
